fusée is a major three-stage French course from Hodder & Stoughton, aimed at Key Stage 3 first language students of French. It meets in full the latest National Curriculum and QCA requirements.

fusée takes a straightforward approach, using topics that aim to motivate both boys and girls alike. The content matter is centred on the need to communicate, but thoroughly integrates all necessary grammar - which is clearly taught throughout. Each unit begins with receptive activities and moves via semi-productive tasks to fully productive and open-ended activities that practise the grammar and topic material taught.

The material covers the full ability range with extension material that differentiates to accommodate both abler and weaker learners. Target language rubrics and tasks are used throughout, but with English translations also provided where appropriate (and for all of the first half of Book 1). The result? A course that will motivate your students, and which makes language-learning simple and rewarding.
