The "365" chain of sites covers music, entertainment and sport across several different languages, and this website is the French version of the company's football site. It is devoted to football entirely from a French angle, however, which should prove interesting for students who are soccer fans, especially given the success of the French national team at the moment and the number of French players currently at British clubs. The site is very large, and predominantly features news reports, but also live reviews of matches, discussion forums and surveys, chat rooms, plus competitions and football links. For the purposes of the fusée activity the focus is on the different sections and their names, as well as the "Fantasy Football"-style game TopFoot, in which readers choose their ideal team (this game works properly during the actual football season, as it is based on the players' performances in real matches), and the reader surveys.

The official Astérix website is great fun, and should prove entertaining even for pupils who aren't familiar with the popular cartoon hero. It gathers together "news" of events in the Asterix world, describes all the books' characters in exhaustive detail, follows certain themes through the series, provides screensavers and background wallpaper to download, and links to other websites based on the character.

There are numerous parts of this website suitable for exercises with students: we have chosen to focus on a few short passages of text from various different parts of the site, as well as the habitual deciphering of the meaning of the headings on the main menu. As with the Tour Eiffel site, there is an interactive quiz with prizes this time of T-shirts and other Asterix products - the answers are all to be found on the site itself, although it's not possible to look for these at the same time as playing the game. Much of the website is static (i.e. will not change) so these parts could be used for comprehension activities - such as the alphabetical character descriptions (click on "Les personnages" from the main menu, then "Les fiches personnages") or themes section ("Les personnages" again, then "Les dossiers").
